Estimator / Project Coordinator - Mission, BC
Our client is looking for a Structural Estimator / Project Coordinator to join their established manufacturing and fabrication operation. The company provides structural steel and custom metal solutions for a diverse range of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. With a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer service, they have built a reputation for delivering reliable project outcomes across multiple sectors.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal production teams to support project planning, prepare accurate cost estimates, and help ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to determine scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations, and proposals for structural steel and fabrication projects.
- Coordinate project activities between customers, production teams, and suppliers.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to support successful project execution.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Review material requirements and assist with procurement planning when required.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to customers and internal teams.
- Support contract administration and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in estimating, project coordination, or project management within a fabrication, manufacturing, or structural steel environment.
- Working knowledge of structural steel products, metal fabrication processes, and construction materials.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, estimating platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and math skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project or customer sites as needed.

Pay: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
