Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Production Supervisor to join our team in the seafood processing industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe processing of food products, particularly within the seafood sector. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality production practices. This is a full-time permanent position.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Production scheduling
- Organizing staff on the production lines
- Understanding HACCP/QMP/SQF
- Support QA and Production Supervisor initiatives as needed
- Working production line as time permits
- Weight Handling: up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Certifications: HACCP, QMP, SQF or equivalent – an asset but NOT required
Prior plant experience is an asset but NOT required.
Language: Basic English level for communication. Cantonese is an asset but NOT required.
