Come join the KS Millwork team! We're looking for an experienced cabinet maker to join us in a fun, fast-paced environment. We offer a broad variety of custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and fine woodworking, and we're excited to add another member to our small team of skilled tradespeople.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
· Build and assemble custom cabinets and architectural millwork.
· Read and work from shop drawings, cut sheets, and production drawings.
· Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
· Prepare components for assembly, including machining, edge banding, drilling, and fitting hardware.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
· Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Secondary Functions
· Assist with CNC operation and material handling as required.
· Assist with installation when needed.
To be eligible for this position you must possess the following
· 2+ years of cabinet making experience.
· Experience building high-quality custom cabinetry and millwork.
· Skilled in the safe operation of woodworking tools and machinery.
· Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
· Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
· Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
· Experience operating CNC machinery considered an asset.
· Experience with edgebanders, panel saws, and other production equipment considered an asset.
Hourly rates will be based on skill and ability.
