We're hiring for two permanent roles at this time, both from happy circumstances. A long-tenured team member is moving on to a career in horticulture, and another beginning maternity leave. Both are permanent positions, not temporary leave coverage.
Simply Orthodontics is an independent, family-owned, orthodontist-led practice in West Edmonton. We've built a professional environment where patients are cared for by a team takes real pride in the details.
We're looking for an experienced Financial Coordinator to own the financial relationship with our families, from their first contract through debond. What matters here is how it's done: precise with insurance and numbers, dependable with follow-through, and warm enough that a family never feels like they're dealing with a bill collector. Part of the role is handling financial conversations with care, including the occasional account that's fallen behind, and doing it with both empathy and confidence.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a financial coordinator in a dental or orthodontic practice.
- Confidence with dental insurance: verification, claims, pre-authorizations, EOBs, and fee schedules.
- Experience with Dolphin practice management software is a plus, or comfort learning it if you're not already familiar.
- Composure in financial conversations, including the difficult ones.
- Strong accuracy and follow-through. This role lives on details not slipping through.
Benefits of the position:
- Patients who make your day: families come in genuinely excited about their smile transformations and grateful for your team's care. The kind of patients who remind you why you got into this work.
- Room to grow: learn alongside a supportive team with deep, varied experience, and real opportunities to develop your skills.
- Competitive wages that reflect your experience.
- A health spending account to support your wellbeing.
- One location: no commuting between offices, so you can build real relationships with a consistent team and patient base.
- A schedule that works for life: no evenings, no weekends.
If you take pride in your work, care about the families you support, and want a team that does the same, we'd love to hear from you.
