RAPS is Seeking full time Support Workers to join a care team for an individual with a cognitive disability (E36)
Location Westlock
Sunday- Thursday * Overnight partial awake shift
Sunday- Tuesday 9:30pm- 9:30am
Wednesday & Thursday 11pm-9:30am.
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: Supporting the client in the community and providing transportation, prompting personal hygiene and household management including housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation, encouragement of independent living skills and participation in activities. Provide employment and volunteer exploration and coaching to the client.
Qualifications: the successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion, a class 5 driver’s license and vehicle for client transportation and have experience working with someone who has a cognitive disability. Must have the ability to speak clear fluent English.
Having the support worker certificate and CPR certificate considered an asset.
Rate of Pay: $25.04 hour
