Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight across various parts of northern Ontario to usa. There will be some heavy haul work and some flatbed tandem work.versatility is a must.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ licensed trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including logs, bills of lading, and other required paperwork.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting; assist with minor repairs when necessary.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Experience
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in freight transportation must have 3 years flatbed experience.
- Experience handling freight and securing loads safely on trucks.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight handling.This role requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service in the transportation industry.
Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per hour
