As a valued member of the team, your core responsibilities will include:
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and determine layout requirements, as well follow QA/QC requirements
- Knowledge of and ability to use all tools pertinent to the trade
- Install of supports, piping, and valves
- Rigging of piping and working with a pressure welder
- May be required to climb stairs, scaffolding, and work at heights including operating power lifts.
- Follow all company and client safety requirements
The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:
- Legally entitled to work in Canada and able to demonstrate long-term work authorization
- Based in Winnipeg or surrounding areas with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Current Journeyperson Pipefitter Ticket recognized under the Government of Manitoba Trades Certification Act
- Must have or willing to maintain a CSTS, Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform Ticket or complete other safety training certificates required for duties
- Must have pipe fabrication experience
- Stand for long periods of time
- Ability to climb stairs and scaffolding
- Ability to work in congested areas
- Must work well in a team atmosphere
- Industrial and fabrication experience is required
- Must be clean shaven to wear a respirator as duties require
