MBC Logging has been established since 2009, with a multi year contract with West Fraser. We are located in Hinton, Alberta.
MBC Logging is looking for a
-Full time Journeyman HD mechanic to work in our shop
-Part time Journeyman HD mechanic to work in our shop
-Full time Journeyman HD mechanic to run our service truck out on the logging blocks
To be eligible for the shop mechanic positions you must carry either a commercial transport or heavy duty mechanic technician certificate. You must have experience working on newer model pickups and logging trucks/trailers. Will be doing routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs. Must be a self starter with the ability to work alone. Must be organized and have the ability to work under pressure. This is a shop position with minimal travel.
To be eligible for the heavy duty mechanic position running our service truck you must have a valid class 5 drivers license. You must carry a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certificate or similar. You must have experience working on logging equipment.
Position Details:
Benefits are available after 3 months
Full Time shop position is Monday to Friday 12pm to 12am
Part Time shop mechanic - flexible
Full Time Bush Mechanic - rotation flexible, minimum 15 on, 5 off. Camp supplied
Hours can be flexible for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
Class 5 license is mandatory. A class 1 would be ideal
Personal tools are required.
Red Seal or Journeyman ticket required.

Pay: $150,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
