Manage residential real estate transactions from opening to closing.
Prepare correspondence, transactional documents, client reports, and lender reports.
Manage approximately 35-40 files per month, including purchases, sales, and refinances.
Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, real estate professionals, and other stakeholders.
Service Mortgage Investment Corporation (MIC) files and complete required reporting.
Conduct title searches and review municipal searches, surveys, and related documentation.
Coordinate with real estate agents, brokers, financial institutions, municipalities, land registry offices, and other parties.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all reporting and closing requirements are completed on time.
Identify and resolve issues relating to title, mortgages, and real estate transactions.
Support and mentor junior law clerks as required.
Graduate of a Canadian Law Clerk Diploma program.
Minimum 3 years of residential real estate law clerk experience.
Proven ability to manage 35-40 real estate files per month.
Experience handling purchases, sales, and refinances.
Knowledge and experience with Mortgage Investment Corporations (MICs) and related reporting requirements.
Proficiency with Unity/Conveyancer, Closer, and Teraview.
Strong understanding of residential real estate transactions and title procedures.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff is an asset.
