Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, and coordinate logistics activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various ERP and warehouse management systems. This role involves optimizing processes, and ensuring efficient supply chain management within a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment. The Warehouse Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining safety standards, improving operational efficiency, and supporting customer service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supply raw materials and packaging materials to production as required.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials and packaging materials.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory activities.
- Maintain inventory records and lot traceability.
- Assign raw material codes and maintain inventory documentation.
- Perform monthly inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Ensure proper FIFO inventory rotation.
- Conduct daily warehouse inspections and housekeeping activities.
- Complete daily reports and warehouse documentation.
- Participate in production planning and inventory meetings.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide backup coverage for Line Leaders and Production Team Members when required.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects.
- Support plant operations and other duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and food production environment.
Additional Qualifications
- Valid certification and experience operating a Reach Truck and Electric Pallet Jack are required.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Experience loading and unloading trailers, stacking pallets, and working in warehouse racking systems.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and inventory handling procedures.
- Willingness to maintain forklift certification and participate in ongoing safety training.
Pay: $23.00 per hour
