Team work environment for a good Registered or Non Registered Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Assistant
We are an independent pharmacy currently looking to fill a full time position.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience in retail pharmacy (1 Year At least)
- Experience using KROLL with easy navigation through the software
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and accurately meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skill
- Positive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work and maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist on-duty
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the regulations outlined by the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) and other relevant legislative bodies.
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications as per the prescription orders.
- Assist patients in managing their prescriptions, including refills and renewals.
- Support the overall operational efficiency of the pharmacy, ensuring timely service and reducing patient wait times.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels of medications and other pharmaceutical products are sufficient.
- Perform regular stock audits, manage expiry dates, and process returns of expired or damaged goods.
- Handle cash transactions, process insurance claims, and manage patient billing as required.
* Our pharmacy uses Kroll for dispensary software, and experience in Kroll is a-must.
Competitive wage depending on experience.
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
