Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Jr. Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate food industry professional to contribute to a vibrant restaurant environment. The Jr. Sous Chef will assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and supporting the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards
- Support food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and quality in all dishes served
- Oversee food handling procedures to comply with food safety regulations and best practices
- Manage team members, providing guidance, training, and leadership to foster a collaborative work environment
- Ensure proper food presentation and serving techniques are followed by staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the head chef on menu development, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management
- Assist in managing restaurant service during peak hours to ensure excellent guest experiences
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive food preparation and cooking skills with a solid understanding of kitchen operations
- Prior food service experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong teamwork and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and handling procedures
- Experience managing or leading teams within the food industry or restaurant management roles
- Familiarity with hospitality standards, customer service excellence, and serving techniques
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

Pay: $52,500.00-$55,000.00 per year
