The North Caribou Lake Education Authority is seeking passionate, dedicated, and culturally responsive Elementary School Teachers to join our team at North Caribou Lake School in Weagamow Lake, Ontario. Position Summary
As an Elementary School Teacher at North Caribou Lake School, you will:

Deliver high-quality instruction based on the Ontario Curriculum for grades Kindergarten to Grade 8, with sensitivity to the unique cultural and linguistic context of our First Nation community.

Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student success and well-being.

Collaborate with colleagues, school administration, support staff, and parents to support student growth and achievement.

Integrate community values, Indigenous perspectives, and land-based learning opportunities into lesson planning and classroom activities.

Monitor and assess student progress and maintain accurate records of student performance.

Participate in school and community events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.
