Job Overview
Halt Pest Control is looking for a motivated, organized, and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our team.
This is a key role in our office and day-to-day operations. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, helping answer questions, schedule services, support technicians, and ensure our customers receive a professional and positive experience from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, confident on the phone, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule pest control appointments and maintain an organized calendar
- Provide customers with information about services, pricing, preparation, and follow-up requirements
- Enter and update client records accurately
- Support pest control technicians with scheduling, routing, and daily logistics
- Prepare and send invoices, quotes, reports, and customer communications
- Assist with payment tracking and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Follow up with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction
- Help maintain organized office systems and documentation
- Perform other administrative and customer service tasks as required
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a busy environment
- Comfortable using computers, email, calendars, and office software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous customer service, office administration, scheduling, dispatch, or bookkeeping experience is an asset
- Pest control experience is not required; training will be provided
Working Conditions
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Office-based role in Lethbridge, Alberta
- Salary range of $45,000–$60,000 per year, depending on experience
