POSITION SUMMARY
Eastside Industrial Coatings and Composites is looking for an Assembly Worker for our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for assembling completed parts that were manufactured using molds and fiberglass application processes.
The successful candidate for this position must be able to work effectively in a group environment as well as independently with little supervision, have a positive attitude, and have an excellent work ethic.
This position is an hourly paid, day position that has a Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM schedule.
**TRANSPORTATION: All Applicants must have a way to get to and from our facility as there is no public transportation available.**
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate machines or equipment or use hand tools to cut, shape, splice and fit plastic materials to form parts and assemblies.
- Prepare reports on products inspected.
- Assemble composite materials on patterns to form parts and assemblies.
- Inspect manufactured plastic products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Mark and re-route defective products for repair or recycle.
- Make minor adjustments or repairs to products.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment as an Assembly worker is required.
QUALIFICATIONS, WORK CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Excellent Problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, proven time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must have their own steel-toed safety boots
