As an Owner Operator, you will play a crucial role in the transportation and logistics industry by managing your own vehicle while delivering freight across various routes.
This position requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining your vehicle, and adhering to all regulations and company policies.
FAST Card holders: California routes Valid U.S. Visa holders: USA-wide routes
Duties
- Operate and maintain your own truck or heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transport freight Full Truck Loads to designated locations while following all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Manage paperwork related to deliveries, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Perform Quarterly and Annual Inspections & repairs by certified technicians to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Well Maintained Semi Tractor/Truck
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
- Ability to operate Semi-Tractor Trailer safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of basic repair techniques is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, dispatchers, and team members.
- Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to all safety regulations.
