Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Brewer to join our brewing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the brewing process, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean and safe production environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the food industry, contributing to the creation of high-quality beverages in a manufacturing setting.
Duties
- Prepare and monitor brewing processes, including mashing, fermentation, and packaging stages
- Operate and maintain brewing equipment such as kettles, fermenters, and packaging lines
- Ensure sanitation standards are met by cleaning tanks, equipment, and work areas regularly
- Assist with packaging operations at the canning line
- Use forklifts to move raw materials and finished products safely within the production area
- Conduct quality checks throughout the brewing process to ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records of batch processes, ingredients used, and production data using basic math skills
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of brewing experience is mandatory
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety regulations in the food industry
- Mechanical knowledge related to brewing or manufacturing equipment is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary)
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
- Familiarity with packaging processes and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
