Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling orders and garnishing dishes
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
- Restock supplies and ensure proper storage of ingredients and utensils
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of serving techniques and food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Basic food preparation skills; experience as a barista or in hospitality is a plus
- Understanding of food safety standards and protocols
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
