We are looking to add a skilled driver to our team in our Richmond, British Columbia branch! In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly and our customers satisfied with reliable, efficient deliveries! Whether you’re handling local pick-ups or supporting cross-border trips, if you enjoy being on the road and like variety in your workday, this role could be a great fit for you!
Requirements:
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as loading, unloading, moving pallets with a pallet jack, and handling packages.
- Valid Class 5 License with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving a 20-foot box truck to and from Blaine, Washington.
- Must possess the appropriate documentation to enter the U.S., including a valid passport and B1/B2 U.S. visa, and be eligible to obtain an I-94.
- Comfortable independently loading and unloading pallets using a pallet jack.
- Must be physically fit to safely lift and handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable driving in various weather conditions, including rain and snow during the Q4 winter season.
- Able to complete approximately two drop-offs near the U.S. border, followed by two to three local pickups in the area on the return trip.
- Comfortable communicating with U.S. border officials and answering questions regarding shipments, including package types, quantities, and other shipment details.
- Able to locate specific packages during border inspections using a provided package list, remove the required packages for inspection, and return them to the correct location afterward.
- Able to become familiar with shipping labels and determine the appropriate drop-off location. USPS shipments are delivered to USPS Blaine, while GOFO, UPS, FedEx, and other applicable shipments are delivered to the Hagens warehouse.
- Must have a reliable mobile phone that can be used for calls and messaging while travelling and at the U.S. border.
- Able to maintain regular communication and provide updates throughout the trip by phone or message.
- Flexible and able to accommodate last-minute changes, including specific package removals, document updates, route changes, and schedule adjustments.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: Start between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM; finish between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
- Saturdays: Start between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM; shifts typically take approximately 3 to 4 hours.
