We are seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team in Niagara Falls.
The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, efficient, and able to work well in a busy restaurant environment. This is a stable, long-term position with consistent full-time hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other menu items
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Preparing ingredients and managing sushi bar inventory
- Following food safety and sanitation procedures
- Keeping the sushi station clean and organized
- Working efficiently with the kitchen and service teams
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
Requirements:
- Previous professional sushi preparation experience
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of seafood handling
- Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy periods
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work as part of a team
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Ontario Food Handler Certificate is preferred
