Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to ensure the reliability and seamless performance of our messaging platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesWeb Chat Widget Testing: Perform end-to-end manual testing of our web chat widget, ensuring consistent performance and functionality across various browsers and devices.Social Integration Testing: Test UX functionality for our Instagram and WhatsApp integrations, validating interactions across different Meta clients (web and mobile app).Issue Reporting: Document, track, and provide clear reproduction steps for any bugs or inconsistencies discovered during the testing process.What We Are Looking ForProven experience in manual software testing, specifically for web-based widgets and chat interfaces.Familiarity with testing across multiple devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) and major browser environments.Experience testing integrations with third-party platforms, particularly Meta/Instagram/WhatsApp.Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify edge cases in user workflows.Clear communication skills to effectively collaborate with our development team during this transition phase.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create And Review Test Cases Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specifications, Ensuring Comprehensive Coverage Of Requirements.
2. Execute Functional Testing As Per The Established Test Plans And Respective Test Cases, Identifying Any Discrepancies And Ensuring Adherence To Quality Standards.
3. Contribute To The Development Of Test Plans By Providing Insights Based On Assigned Work And Previous Testing Experiences, Ensuring Alignment With Project Objectives.
4. Track Test Coverage, Defect Density, And Other Relevant Quality Metrics, And Publish Detailed Progress Reports To Communicate Findings And Status Updates.
5. Coordinate With Team Members For Discussions On Testing Strategies And Interact With Clients To Provide Updates And Gather Feedback On Testing Outcomes.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Functional Testing Methodologies And Best Practices
2. Proficiency In Creating And Executing Test Cases Based On Specifications
3. Familiarity With Test Management Tools For Tracking And Reporting Metrics
4. Good Communication Skills For Coordinating With Teams And Interacting With Clients
5. Basic Knowledge Of Defect Tracking Processes And Tools
