Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of production of concrete block and landscape and yard materials and best practices. This role involves various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiencies of the production facility and yard. The Production Associate will be responsible for producing concrete block, quality control within the production facility, maintaining inventory levels, yard efficiencies, operating equipment, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- load and unload trucks, customer vehicles either by hand or with a forklift
- Produce concrete block as required
- Maintain high customer service levels.
- Perform yard maintenance tasks
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various projects.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to completes projects on time.
Qualifications
- Forklift experience (standard operation an asset)
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as power tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
