Production Designer / Art Department Head (Contract)
Skypeace Production is looking for an experienced Production Designer / Art Department Head to join our team on a contract basis for TV shows, films, commercials, and primarily music videos.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute the visual look of sets and filming locations.
- Source, organize, and manage props, set dressing, and art department requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Director, Producer, and Production Manager to bring creative concepts to life.
- Work efficiently within production schedules and budgets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the film, television, or commercial production industry.
- Strong knowledge of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, including roads, filming locations, and local resources.
- Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and long production days.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to source materials, manage logistics, and lead the art department when required.
