Job Description and Responsibilities:
To meet the demand of our growing Service Department, we are searching for an outgoing Service Advisor to work full-time in our Grande Prairie location. You as the ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task with time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for service customers, you will possess strong customer service skills and be able to confidently relay information from service personnel. This opening is for an evening shift (16:00-00:30) Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed. This shift requires a higher level of independence and problem-solving skills as there are fewer staff members available for support.
Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Act as a bridge between customers and service personnel, facilitating clear communication regarding repairs.
- Provide outstanding customer service, managing calls and in-person interactions with professionalism.
- Greet customers warmly, obtain vehicle information, and ensure a positive experience.
- Accurately process customer and technician information into Decisiv, maintaining data integrity.
- Prepare and compile accurate documentation for warranty claims to facilitate seamless processing.
- Stay informed about the latest warranty agreements, policies, and procedures to ensure up-to-date knowledge.
- Navigate vendor websites to gather warranty information.
- Perform essential filing and administrative tasks to keep operations running efficiently.
- Handle service and warranty paperwork efficiently, ensuring all documents are properly filed and organized.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team to facilitate smooth operations
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of service writing experience.
- Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with clients and team members.
- Collaborative mindset with a strong desire to learn and contribute to team success.
- Demonstrated excellence in organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities within time-sensitive deadlines.
- Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
