Recruiter – Staffing Agency
Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and resourceful Recruiter to join our staffing agency team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing candidates across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong client and candidate relationships, and consistently meets hiring targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to understand hiring needs, job requirements, and company culture
- Source candidates using job boards, referrals, networking, and platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed
- Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews to assess candidate fit
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to placement
- Maintain and update candidate pipelines and databases (ATS systems)
- Negotiate offers, compensation, and start dates
- Build long-term relationships with candidates and clients
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly placement targets
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of recruiting or staffing experience (agency experience preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage high-volume recruitment
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Results-driven with a sense of urgency
Preferred Skills
- Experience recruiting for roles such as warehouse, logistics, IT, or administrative positions
- Knowledge of local labor market trends
- Sales or business development mindset
