Job Title: Plant Manager

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3pm

Job Overview
The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all plant activities from storage to shipment to meet business requirements. The Plant Manager is an experienced Operations Leader that drives results across key performance metrics. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance and ensuring the safe and reliable operations of high-quality food products.
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning, coordination, and scheduling of shipments to meet timelines and volume targets.
- Ensure product quality is upheld while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Support ramp-up project executions and start-up challenges.
- Develop operational plans to support growth and objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and maintain a clean and compliant workplace.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to output, efficiency, and quality while implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with senior management on forecasting and planning initiatives.
- Provide leadership and training opportunities for staff to create a high-performing work environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in plant or operations management within a food environment.
- Strong background in supply chain management and logistics coordination.
- Ability to work in a cold, fast paced, and physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Proven experience in leading and directing shipping and receiving procedures.
- Experience in lead health and safety initiatives and meetings in the workplace.
