Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for excellent customer service to join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, proficiency with Kroll software, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing exceptional customer service to all patients
- Receiving prescription orders
- Entering prescriptions into Kroll
- Managing insurance claims
- Packaging prescriptions
- Managing inventory
- Cashing out customers
- Answering phone calls
- Booking appointments
- Supporting pharmacists with clinical activities
- Implementing policies to improve practice
Requirements:
- Two years or more experience as a pharmacy assistant in Alberta
- Two years of experience working with Kroll software
- Ability to connect with patients and foster strong relationships
- Team player with a focus on achieving goals and objectives
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
