We're Building More Than Projects
We're building careers, leaders, and a company people are proud to be part of.
At Extek Construction, we believe great people build great companies. Our goal isn't simply to hire employees—we're looking for people who want to build a career, contribute to something meaningful, and take pride in the company they represent.
Our work includes commercial tenant improvements, residential renovations, structural framing, finish carpentry, excavation, septic systems, underground utilities, drainage, retaining walls, concrete, demolition, and general civil construction.
No two projects are the same. One week you may be completing a commercial tenant improvement, the next building a custom residential renovation, framing an addition, constructing a deck, or solving a challenging structural issue.
We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in exceptional workmanship, and genuinely enjoys solving problems. If you're someone who looks at a project and immediately starts thinking three steps ahead, you'll fit in well at Extek.
A Modern Approach to Construction
At Extek Construction, we believe great people use great tools. As our company continues to grow, we embrace new technology—including AI, digital project management, and modern construction practices—to improve communication, organization, problem-solving, efficiency, and the overall experience for both our team and our clients.
You don't need to be an expert with these tools when you join us. What matters is your willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve. We believe the best teams are built by people who are curious, open to new ideas, and always looking for better ways to get the job done.
We value craftsmanship just as much as innovation. By combining skilled people with modern technology, we're building a company committed to quality, efficiency, and long-term success.
What Quality Means at Extek
At Extek, quality isn't measured by whether the work passes inspection—it's measured by whether we're proud to put our name on it.
We believe the details matter. Clean layouts, accurate measurements, thoughtful planning, and taking the time to do the job properly aren't extras—they're the standard.
We're looking for carpenters who care about the finished product because they know every project reflects both themselves and the company.

Our Culture
At Extek Construction, we believe quality work starts with quality people.
We hire for attitude before experience. Skills can be taught. Work ethic, initiative, accountability, integrity, and a willingness to learn are much harder to teach.
We believe respect is both earned and given. Every member of our team is expected to treat coworkers, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and the public professionally.
At Extek, we recognize that life exists outside of work. We genuinely care about the people on our team—not just the work they do, but their personal growth, their families, and their well-being. We believe that when people feel supported and respected, they do their best work.
We work hard, hold each other accountable, and maintain high standards, but we also celebrate successes, support one another through challenges, and treat everyone with honesty and respect.
Trust and responsibility are earned through consistency, reliability, and the quality of your work. As you demonstrate those qualities, you'll be given opportunities to learn, take on greater responsibility, increase your earning potential, and build a long-term career with Extek Construction.
Before You Apply
We're looking for people who are genuinely interested in building a long-term career with Extek Construction.
Applications must include both a résumé and responses to the three questions below. Applications submitted without both will not be considered.
Feel free to use AI or other tools to help organize your thoughts or improve your writing—we encourage people to embrace technology. However, your answers should genuinely reflect your own experiences, values, and personality.
We'll be interviewing the person behind the application—not the software used to write it.
