FACULTY OF BUSINESS: AXIS SALES ACCELERATOR
The UNB Saint John Faculty of Business (FOB) offers a 12-month intensive MBA program and a Bachelor of Business program with industry backed specializations, numerous experiential learning opportunities, and a CEWIL accredited co-op program. The Axis Sales Accelerator is the University of New Brunswick's flagship accelerator for entrepreneurs, both student and non-student. The Axis Sales Accelerator is a 6- month intensive program that helps early-stage startups acquire Lead Growth Customers, accelerate founder led sales, and raise their seed round. High potential graduates are eligible for a multi-year residency which includes continued investment readiness services, and founder-led sales support.

Salary Range: $61,337 - $83,597 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to Director, Axis Sales Accelerator, the Project Manager is responsible for internal project financial compliance, key customer success functions related to sales and investment readiness, program management of the Axis Sales Accelerator program, and management of the ongoing Axis Residency service offering.
Conduct strategic reviews of customer financial and business models to identify key coaching needs.
Support early-stage start-ups in securing public and private funding.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions within the Axis Sales Accelerator project.
Manage and process personal reimbursement claims.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the Axis Sales Accelerator project general ledger.
Develop, manage, and monitor core budgets and sustainability plans.
Manage quotes, purchase orders, and invoice processing for external service providers.
Support in the management of quarterly funder financial claims and reporting.
Identify and develop funding opportunities for Axis operations and programs.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with regional investment firms, angel investors.
Support the design and execution of internal and external marketing initiatives.
Support onboarding, recruitment, retention, and alumni transition activities for Axis founders.
Own the application form and first follow-up.
Own Residency services (ex: sales coaching for residency clients).
Own customer testimonials and customer satisfaction.
Own scheduling of the Axis Sales Accelerator batch and batch coaching.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration.
Minimum 1-3 years experience in finance and accounting in a high-growth business environment.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Strengths
Experience working in a not-for-profit is an asset.
