Personal Support Worker (PSW) / Home Care Worker

About Us
A3 Home Care provides reliable and compassionate private home-care and personal support services to seniors and individuals who need assistance with their daily activities.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living
* Bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting assistance
* Mobility and transfer assistance
* Meal preparation and feeding assistance, when required
* Medication reminders
* Companionship and social support
* Light housekeeping and laundry
* Assist with maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
* Follow the client’s care plan and family instructions
* Report changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate person
* Provide respectful, compassionate and client-centred care
Qualifications
* PSW Certificate or equivalent experience preferred
* Previous home-care or senior-care experience is an asset
* CPR/First Aid certification preferred
* Vulnerable Sector Check required
* Reliable and compassionate
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently
* Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is an asset
