<p><u>Location:</u> Burlington or Ottawa, Canada </p><p></p><p><b>Job Summary</b>: </p><p>We are seeking a skilled <b>Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor</b> for a <b>contract</b> opportunity, with experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technical roles, the semiconductor industry landscape, and the skills required for success in engineering, manufacturing, research and development, and other specialized roles. You will play a key role in attracting top-tier talent, ensuring the recruitment process is efficient, and fostering a strong employer brand in the competitive semiconductor job market. </p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b>: </p><ul><li><p>Support hiring needs across US, Canada, Mexico and parts of Europe </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from job requisition creation through offer acceptance, ensuring a smooth candidate experience. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Partner with key business, staffing, and hiring stakeholders to understand need and build solutions for hiring objectives. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Effectively source, screen, and interview candidates. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Create compensation package proposals while leading the negotiation and offer process </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Collaborate with HR Business Partners, </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through various sourcing channels, including job boards, networking, social media, and recruitment events. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provide hiring managers with regular updates on recruitment progress. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Stay current on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and semiconductor talent needs to continuously improve recruitment strategies. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and industry associations to attract entry-level and experienced technical talent. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and talent movements within the technology sector to provide strategic insights to the business. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Track and report key performance metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, candidate quality) to ensure recruitment goals are being met and continuously optimized </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b>: </p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>7+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have recruited in the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech industries. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proven experience recruiting for a variety of niche technical roles, such as hardware and software engineers, analog and digital design engineers, high speed test engineers, etc. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong understanding of semiconductor technologies and roles required in this industry, including an understanding of microelectronics, IC design, chip development, and related fields. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, and specialized job boards. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), resume databases, and other recruitment software. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach. </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Skills</b>: </p><ul><li><p>Experience utilizing Workday </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth semiconductor or tech company. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>A strong passion for talent acquisition and a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry’s evolving needs. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience with campus recruiting or diversity and inclusion recruitment strategies. </p></li></ul><p></p><p><i>The intent of this job description is to describe the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.</p>
