We are seeking a dedicated and personable Full Time Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to grow within the hospitality industry while providing memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support overall restaurant operations
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest satisfaction through knowledgeable recommendations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently
- Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism
- Follow all sanitation protocols and food safety guidelines to uphold health standards
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in a restaurant setting
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling transactions
- Previous food industry or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated individuals
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- A friendly attitude with a professional appearance and demeanor
