Artificer Inc. is an engineering and steel fabrication company. We are a custom job shop with CWB certification to CSA Standard W47.1, welding and fitting both carbon steel and stainless steel. The Opportunity
We are currently ramping up production for an existing customer and require skillful Fitter Welders to fabricate relatively complicated bins. The ideal candidate thrives in a custom job shop environment, possesses a strong mechanical background, and enjoys being involved in all stages of metal fabrication.

Core Responsibilities
- Fit and weld carbon steel and stainless steel components.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and welding symbols.
- Measure materials accurately to within 1/16".
- Fabricate complex bins and custom structures from start to finish.
Asset Skills & Equipment ExperienceExperience with any of the following equipment or processes is a major asset:
- Welding: FCAW / GMAW (MIG) processes.
- Cutting: Oxy-Acetylene torch and Plasma cutting.
- Machinery: Press Brake and Ironworker.
- Finishing: Grinders, Shot Blast machine, and Powder Coat painting.
- Material Handling: Overhead cranes and forklifts.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
