Elite Barbershop Duncan is seeking qualified and experienced barbers.
Job Duties: cut and trim hair with clippers and scissors, shave and trim beards and mustaches, provide straight razor shaves, provide hair colour and treatment services as required. Greet clients and provide excellent customer service. Accept clients payment and use a computer to cash out clients. Light daily cleaning duties required. 3 to 5 years minimum experience required. Fast-paced work environment, standing for long periods required. Some evenings and weekends required. 40 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Education: Secondary School completion, vocational or technical training, barber or cosmetology license or equivalent. Red Seal is an asset.

- Communicate effectively with clients to explain styling options, product recommendations, and aftercare instructions
Qualifications
- Proven experience.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and foster long-term relationships
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols relevant to personal care environments
- Excellent communication skills for engaging clients, team collaboration, and upselling opportunities
- Experience in retail sales, with a focus on promoting products confidently and effectively
- Ability to manage front desk responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Prior leadership or senior-level experience is preferred but not mandatory; a proactive approach is essential
