Job Summary
ABC Spirits corp. provides dump truck services for paving, excavation and civil projects across the Edmonton region.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver for the 2026 construction season. The successful candidate will safely haul asphalt, gravel, and other materials to various job sites while following all safety, traffic, and site-specific rules.
Experience with asphalt and base materials is preferred but not required.
A smartphone with data is required for our tracking app.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a dump truck to haul materials to designated locations and follow dispatcher/site directions
- Ensure safe loading/unloading and proper material distribution in the box
- Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
- Keep the cab clean; clean out and scrape the box as required
- Maintain accurate logs of loads, hours, and trip details
- Use smartphone-based tracking and communication apps
- Assist with basic maintenance and minor repairs of the truck
- Maintain safe work environment and closely follow safety program, site rules, speed limits, PPE requirements, etc
Requirements
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with airbrake endorsement
Clean commercial driver’s abstract
Experience operating dump trucks in construction (preferred)
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
