York Street Dental is looking for an experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to join our friendly and professional team.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with patients, has strong dental administrative experience, and can confidently manage the many moving parts of a busy dental office. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, dependable, and takes pride in creating a positive experience for every patient.

What You’ll Be Doing
As our Dental Patient Coordinator, you will play an important role in both the patient experience and the daily operation of the practice. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients and creating a welcoming experience
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and patient inquiries
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Maintaining a productive and well-organized schedule
- Coordinating continuing care and outstanding treatment
- Reviewing treatment plans and estimates with patients
- Verifying insurance coverage and submitting dental claims
- Following up on insurance estimates and outstanding claims
- Collecting and processing patient payments
- Following up on outstanding patient balances
- Maintaining accurate patient information and records
- Communicating effectively with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and patients
- Supporting the overall flow and organization of the front desk
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of dental reception/patient coordination experience
- Dentrix experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures
- Experience with dental insurance claims, estimates, and coordination of benefits
- Comfortable discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy environment
- Reliable, professional, positive, and team-oriented

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
