Training Schedule: Two days in the morning
Regular Shift: Sunday to Thursday,11 PM TO 7 AM
Job Description
We are currently hiring Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse operation in Surrey, BC. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating material handling equipment (MHE), picking, shipping, and receiving while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MHE, including Center Rider and Dock Stocker equipment.
- Pick products accurately according to warehouse requirements.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
- Load, unload, move, and organize products within the warehouse.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and operational guidelines.
- Maintain accurate inventory and product handling practices.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience is an asset.
- Previous experience operating Center Rider and Dock Stocker is preferred.
- MHE certification is an asset.
- Experience with picking, shipping, or receiving is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work the required training and regular night shift schedule.
