Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Budtender to join our team at Dutch Bros. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding our products
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell products and promote specials to enhance customer experience and sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area, including merchandising and filing
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, ensuring high levels of customer service
- Use computer skills for record keeping, reporting, and basic math calculations
- Support team leadership in maintaining a positive work environment
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to stock shelves or move supplies
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word; familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Multilingual abilities (English required; French or other languages are a bonus) to serve diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Organizational skills for managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience in merchandising, upselling, and time management is advantageous
- Leadership qualities or experience supervising team members are desirable but not required
