Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Sandwich Artist to join our team. This role involves preparing fresh sandwiches and salads, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure all food is prepared following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service throughout each shift.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with opening or closing duties as assigned.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and basic math skills is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in cashiering, food handling, serving, or upselling can enhance performance in this role.
