Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lot Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dealership operates smoothly and efficiently. As a Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the RV lot, assisting customers, and staff. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle lot, ensuring all vehicles are presentable.
- Clearing snow in the winter.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a positive experience.
- Ensure that all RVs are parked in designated areas and are easily accessible for customers and staff, with slides open.
- Deliver units to customer lake lots as required.
- Merchandise the lot and set up RVs for display.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management to enhance overall dealership operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to drive a Loader, park a fifth wheel and run a forklift.
- Must be able to hook up a trailer to a truck.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
- Must be able to park RVs in tight spaces.
- Air brake endorsement is required.
