Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled and experienced Apparel Printing/Heat Press Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and supporting various production processes. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where mechanical knowledge and printing experience are highly valued. The Technician plays a crucial part in delivering precise printing solutions to meet customer specifications and production deadlines.
*Please note we are not looking for a graphic designer.
General Responsibilities:
- Help in setting up jobs and monitoring the press.
- Check for print quality.
- Maintain accurate production records.
- Read and understand spec sheet.
- Operate, maintain and calibrate equipment
- Some understanding of graphics and colors would be an asset
- Work well with other members of staff
- Comfortable in a fast paced environment
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, printing, warehouse or construction.
- High School diploma and good English skills required.
- Good Knowledge of software and design programs
- Strong communication, and problem solving skills to operate and troubleshoot various mechanical issues.
- Ability to lift 50lbs is an asset.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
