Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to maintain healthy turf.
- Support landscape maintenance tasks like pruning, tree trimming, and shrub shaping to promote plant health.
- Operate equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Maintain hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures.
- Conduct general site cleanup and prepare work areas for ongoing projects or seasonal changes.
- Follow safety protocols during all activities and report any hazards or equipment issues promptly.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping.
- Experience with lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care techniques, and irrigation systems is advantageous.
- Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills.
