What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating backhoes for underground utilities, service installs, trenching & civil site work
- Working alongside foremen, pipe layers, and survey to hit line, grade & safety standards
- Spotting hazards and keeping sites clean, safe, and efficient
- Perform daily equipment inspections
- Taking pride in clean work — no “good enough” trenches here
- Maintain safe, organized, and efficient job sites
- Follow company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years’ experience running backhoes in civil or utility construction
- Strong understanding of grade, slope & underground services
- Safety-first mindset (and the confidence to speak up on site)
- Valid BC driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to jobs within the lower mainland
