Cleve’s Source for Sports has been locally owned and operated for over 75 years and we are looking to grow our team! Our Lower Sackville retail store is currently seeking a results-driven Sales Associate to join our team. Sales Associates work closely with our customers to identify product needs, answer questions, and recommend the right solutions. They also work with Store Managers to promptly resolve customer issues and ensure maximum satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales Associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features. Ultimately, the duties of a Sales Associate are to strive for excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Welcoming customers to the store and encouraging an inviting sales environment
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
- Remain knowledgeable on all product offerings and discuss available options.
- Build productive trust relationships with customers
- Maintain merchandising standards through effective display and organization of products
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform cash handling duties
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate or similar role
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficiency in English
- Basic Math skills
- Team-based mentality
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Availability to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends)
Education
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience
- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
Pay: $16.75 per hour
