Speed Foods is a second-generation quick-service company located in Langley BC. We currently have 8 A&W restaurants all located within Langley & South Surrey. We are currently looking for a Location Manager to help us achieve our goal of being a Top Tier Employer and The Best Quick Service Restaurant in Canada! At Speed Foods we strive to "WOW" every guest that walks through our doors by giving them extraordinary customer service with great tasting food.
The Location Manager position is a hands-on position; coaching,leading and developing the team daily to deliver exceptional quality,service and cleanliness to our guests on every shift and to do so profitably. This is a big job and a big responsibility.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years QSR experience
- 2+ years in a unit manager leadership position
- Advanced understanding of all quick service restaurant operations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on, environment
- Ability to coach,train and motivate employees
- Valid Driver's License with personal vehicle
- Dealing with guest concerns and winning them back
- Computer knowledge in Office or OpenOffice
- Professional positive team leader, dependable, takes initiative
- Should expect to work 40+ hours per week
- Must be available to work flexible hours,evenings,weekends and holidays
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Recruiting, training, leading , and coaching a team of managers and staff to achieve our brand standards of exceptional quality, service and cleanliness
- Building sales and profitability through excellent operations; in conjunction with local marketing
- Accountable for operating profitability by monitoring food, paper, labour and operating expenses within budget
- Ensuring all team members are trained to deliver exceptional quality, service, and cleanliness via ongoing training
- Ensuring all company programs, practices and systems are implemented and executed properly
- Working with the management team to identify problem areas and work with them to come up with, and implement solutions.
- Creating and maintaining a positive work climate that promotes best-in-class tenure and governing onself according to our family's strong values.
- Dealing with guest concerns and winning them back
