About the Role:
We are looking for a Pump Mechanic / Pump Technician with strong, hands-on experience working on sump pump systems found in hi-rise buildings. This role involves both shop and field work, supporting the repair, replacement, diagnosing, maintenance, and installation of sump pumps across a variety of properties.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, understands mechanical systems deeply, and can work independently while also supporting and guiding junior technicians when needed.

Requirements:
- Proven experience working specifically on pump systems (not just general mechanical work)
- Hands-on experience with pump disassembly, inspection, measurement, repair, and reassembly
- Strong understanding of pump operating conditions (pressure, temperature, flow, alignment)
- Ability to measure tolerances and record accurate data
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and ability to complete service documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on shop and field work, including disassembly, inspection, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of industrial pumps
- Diagnose pump failures and complete root cause analysis
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and pump assembly diagrams
- Ensure all inspection reports, measurements, and service documentation are completed accurately
- Follow OEM specifications during repairs
- Support installations, retrofits, and system upgrades where required
- Maintain strong adherence to safety standards and company procedures

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
Experience:
- HVAC and/or Plumbing: 2 years (preferred)
- High-rise: 2 years (preferred)
