POSITION – ESTIMATOR AND MANUALS COORDINATOR
The successful candidate will work with the Commissioning, Testing Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) and Sustainability team to prepare proposals and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals. We anticipate the candidate’s duties to be:
Estimating:
· Complete estimation of Commissioning, TAB, Integrated System Testing (IST), & Manuals projects for manager review and sign-off.
· Review mechanical drawings and specifications for project scope requirements.
· Prepare proposal content.
· Review current approved project site instructions and change orders for additional scope pricing. Update project managers on changes to their projects.
O&M Manuals Preparation:
· Compile project maintenance manuals as per mechanical specifications and client requirements.
· Delivery of electronic copies of preliminary and final manuals to client.
· Printing, binding and coordinate courier delivery of physical copies of maintenance manuals where required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:
· AScT or CTech qualification, in a mechanical designation.
· Proficiency in reading and understand mechanical and architectural drawings and specifications.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word and Excel).
· Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
· Experience with Function Point (or similar project management software) is an asset, but not required.
· Enjoys being part of a team, having fun, and recognizes the importance of each team member.
· Ability to work under demanding deadlines and work schedules.
· Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
· Professional and responsive communication skills with clients and team.
· Self-motivated, enjoys the details and getting things right, and not afraid to ask questions.
