Summary
We are seeking four dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission to promote sustainability by ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials to and from our recycling facility. This position is Monday to Friday 10 hour day is typical.
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks to transport materials to and from the recycling facility
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Collaborate with team members to optimize logistics operations
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other staff
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Proven experience in commercial driving
- Strong knowledge of freight operations and logistics
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely
- Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to safety and environmental standards
