Who are you?
You are the first person customers come into contact with, you will have the opportunity to present a positive initial meeting and greeting of customers both in-person and phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers visiting the showroom and inquire about the purpose of their visit.
- Direct customers to the appropriate department or team member and notify staff when customers are waiting.
- Answer and manage a high-volume phone line, directing calls, taking messages, and paging employees as needed.
- Maintain familiarity with RV unit inventory and ensure listings on the company website are accurate and up to date.
- Assist the Sales Team by maintaining knowledge of current sales promotions and providing administrative support as required.
- Enter and update inventory data in company systems.
- Coordinate and process necessary documentation for the Sales Department.
- Perform general administrative duties including preparing documents, correspondence, electronic filing, scanning, and document tracking.
- Distribute incoming mail (interoffice, courier, and regular mail) and coordinate courier pickups.
- Photograph RV inventory as required.
- Assist customers with directions or general inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and high customer service standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming reception area, customer coffee station, and waiting lounge.
- Prepare office supply orders as needed.
- Liaise with the Branch Manager to determine daily priorities.
- Support management and team members with additional tasks as assigned.
- Respond to and interact with customers, lot visitors, and staff in a professional and positive manner that supports the dealership and its products.
- May cross-train to perform additional duties as required.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or reception environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to take initiative and handle responsibilities independently.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to respond professionally to a diverse range of customers and situations.
