We are looking for an experienced florist to work on Tuesdays, Saturdays and other days when busy. Primary role is processing cut stock, cleaning and organizing. This job requires strong customer service skills, creating bouquets quickly while people wait using appropriate flower math, design and packaging. Taking orders by phone, filling orders, and facilitating deliveries.
Requirements
You must have several years experience working in an independent flower shop, not a box / grocery store.
Please know how to process cut flowers, this means unpacking, prepping vessels, cleaning stems, adhering to flower specific requirements and organizing a cooler. You should be able to do this without training to be qualified for this position.
Be available Tuesdays and Saturdays
Not be afraid of the telephone.
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
